In fairy tales, the prince kisses the beautiful princess and they ride off on a white horse into the sunset to live happily ever after. In real life however, perfect, perpetual happiness can sometimes feel much more elusive. The fairy tale rarely meshes with the real world for any length of time.
A couple may love each other deeply, but a number of stressors, such as poor communication, money, conflict, or infidelity, can damage their relationship and affect happiness. Couples therapy can have a big impact on the way a couple connects with each other. It gives an opportunity to get out of the bad habits you have when relating to each other and start feeling good about your relationship again.
My couple therapy service in Manchester is available to both straight and gay couples. I will give support, guidance and direction whilst the two of you work through your problems and find solutions together.
